Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Mr. Poston practiced law predominately in Denton County and the surrounding area from 1996 to 2014. He was involved in both civil litigation and criminal defense to include appellate work in the Second Court of Appeals in Fort Worth, Texas. Mr. Poston devoted much of his time representing municipalities and specializing in eminent domain cases for both landowner and government authorities. He taught high school English in Dallas from 2015-2020 before returning to Nacogdoches, Texas and assisting the Nacogdoches County Attorney’s Office. Married with three adult children (ages 21-26).
